HEALTHY EATING, THANKSGIVING AND CHARITY DONATIONS

November 26th, 2009

What do healthy eating, charity donations and Thanksgiving all have in common? Squidoo, that is. Well, the charity donations and Thanksgiving are definitely a direct part of the Squidoo experience, but the healthy eating is simply up to you. Why a person ought to eat healthy is simply beyond the scope of a short article such as this, but Thanksgiving is all too often a time for gluttony. Turkey, however, is actually very healthy, with some sources stipulating that it is better than chicken due to it being lower in fat. Turkey tends to feature less protein, though. Whatever the case might be, a good turkey dinner can be the start of a lifetime of eating healthy.

Eating healthy is a cause, and it is good to eat healthy and to donate to a decent charity. Given the rate of consumption of most of the public at an all-time high, coupled with the fact that most holidays serve the business world more than they do the people, finding an outlet during a holiday experience to help give to charity is simply giving back to the community. Squidoo is a perfect example of this, and this article is stressing that a bit of research is quite easy to find out some information. Squidoo is providing a Thanksgiving cookoff for charity. So, if you dare to become a part of such a cookoff, don’t forget to be a show-off and prepare a healthy Thankgsgiving dinner that is low on calories!
